Greta invites you to dine at The Turtle Club, and when you do, she will be glad to tell you what RUAT, YBYSAIA means. No, it doesn't mean "The Turtle Club" in some Middle Eastern language! Ken and Greta Lindley bought this steak and seafood restaurant from George Splitstoser about 20 years ago, and they have been serving up award-winning food ever since. The Turtle Creed
Taking homes with them wherever they go, turtles remind us to remember our roots while still welcoming new places and stages in life. They teach us about life's true necessities: shelter, food, drink, and most importantly, faith. The turtle's slow gate requires the animal to have faith that it will eventually get to where its going, and that its needs will be satisfied along the way.

Turtles are bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, fearless, and unafraid folk with a fighter pilot attitude. They think clean, have lots of fun, and recognize the fact that you never get any place worthwhile in life unless you stick your neck out. Turtles are indeed an illustrious group and include in their membership ranks some of the country's foremost leaders in fields where aggressiveness, fair play, clean thoughts, and senses of humor are keys to success.

Building on Our Creed
Started by a group of test pilots during the second World War, The Turtle Club has progressed to its present position as one whose membership is diligently sought after and highly esteemed by those lucky enough to be initiated. Adherence to the creed and always giving the password when asked are the only responsibilities placed on our membership. You'll find that life is more fun and takes on a new meaning when you're a "TURTLE!"

A Short Drive from Fairbanks
The Turtle Club is along the New Steese Expressway in the quaint town of Fox, Alaska. For your pleasure, we are open 7 days a week, with seating starting at 6:00, 7:30, and 9:00 p.m. Reservations are requested, particularly in summer. Once seated, you'll find our award-winning food exceptional and the service superb. Be sure to notice the eclectic "Turtle" decor—there are turtles from all over the world!
